Pangmapha
Pangmapa is a district of Maehongson. There are various kinds of things that you can do here, ranging from just taking a rest, enjoy the natural beauty of surroundings, visit hill tribe villages and learn their different ways of life, or investigate exotic and unspoiled caves in this area. If you love to experience outdoor activities, you can go hiking, biking, bamboo rafting or elephant riding.
Pangmapha is known as the land of hundred caves (Muang Roi Tham). There are many caves waiting for you to discover their natural beauty such as Lod cave, Maelana, Phaphuek, Pang Kham, Nam bo phi, Nam Lang, Susa, Ja bo, MuangPam and Coffin cave (Pi Man cave). Each cave is unique and is decorated with colorful stalagmites and stalactites. Some of them also have historical importance like at Lod cave and Coffin cave.

Maehongson
Maehongson is a province located in the north of Thailand. The northern and western part of the province is bordered by Myanmar (Burma), while the eastern part is bordered by Chiangmai. Maehongson is sheltered by several high mountains that separate Thailand from Myanmar. With this geography, it has a distinguished environment and culture that you can find only in this area. Many of Buddha temples and buildings are influenced by the Burmese culture. People from difference cultures, such as Thai Yai (Shan), Lanna (Northern Thai) and the hill tribes are peacefully blended together in this province.
This province is also known as Muang Sarm Mork which means the land of three seasonal mists. These mists are formed by various natural phenomena; this includes moist and cool fog during the raining season (June-October); the cold mist during the winter (November-February); and the light haze in the summer (March-May). All year round here, you will breath clean cool fresh air.

- Temples: Wat Phra Thart Doi Kong Mu, Wat Chong Khum, Wat Chong Klang, and Wat Hua Wiang; Singhanatraja statue
- Park and nature: Tham Pla (Fish cave), Pha Sua waterfall and Pha Bong Dam; Villages and hill tribe cultures: Ban Nam Phiang Din and Ban Nai Soi (village of the long- neck hill tribe), and Ban Rak Thai (village of mountain Chinese). Ban Raum Thai (wonderful scenery)
Khun Yuam district:
- Temples: Wat Muai Tor and Wat Tor Phae
- Park and nature: Wild- Sunflower mountain at Doi Mae U- Kho, Mae Surin Waterfall, Mae Yuam Luang waterfall, and Mae U-Kho waterfall.
Pai district:
- Temples: Wat Nam Hu, Wat Phra Thart Mae Yen
- Park and nature: Mo Paeng waterfall, Tha Pai Hot spring, Mae Ping Karen village, Huay nam dung national park
Mae Sa Riang District:
- Temples: Wat Saen Thong, Wat Uttayarom, Wat Sri Bun Ruang, Wat Phra Thart Jom Mon
- Park and nature: Wild- Sunflower field at Doi Mae Ho, Salawin National Park
Sop Moei district: Mae San Laep and Mae Ngao National Park
